Taft's Ale House

I went here with a group of folks in the Bell Tower. I am a native Cincinnatian, I was interested in the renovation of the church and we were satisfied with room overall, but not the food. Our food (for 13 people) took an hour and fifteen minutes to come. The drinks were good, no complaints about the appetizers (which came within 15 minutes). But the entrees were not good overall - overcooked salmon, overcooked chicken, wrong orders, and cold food. Just providing some honest feedback, I hope my next experience there is better. I should mention our server was attentive and really good despite the overall experience.

Very good beers, ample and diverse menu. Amazing location, great atmosphere. Average food.

So glad I stopped here. Wonderful atmosphere, good service, clean, and friendly people. Bring your appetite as they have a good menu and will recommend just the right beverage to pair with your meal. But I recommend that you try one of their local brews. Their brews change with the seasons so be sure to come back often to try new blends.
